Rural American Graphics - Randy Spotts
The company Rural American Graphics originated in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1975 when a free lance photographer, Randall R. Spotts, began shooting images of rural America.  The images became popular and were first published in Wallace's Farmer magazine in 1981.  The company Rural American Graphics has grown into a multi faceted full service photographic company that is able to meet all of you needs. 

The photographer, Randall R. Spotts, studied art, art history and photography at Mankato State University. He was also privileged to be able to meet and study under Ansel Adams, the iconic landscape photographer, Ralph Gibson, a surrealist photographer from Soho New York, and Helen Manzer, a Time Life photographer.  Randall began teaching photography in 1975 at the Cedar Rapids Art Center and  is currently teaching photography through Hopkins community education and occasionally at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen Minnesota.

Randall's work has been published in the following magazines, Cosmopolitan, Cat Fancy, Dog Fancy,Wine Spectator and Photographers Forum.  Randall is also a contributing photographer to Hallmark cards, and has also worked with several stock agencies over the years including Ewing Galloway,Dynamic Graphics and Joan Kramer & Associates.His corporate clients include SuperValu Inc., Wholesale Produce Supply, Biosync Inc., and the Hopkins School District.

He is a life-time member of The International Free-lance Photographers Organization and a past member of The Twin Cities Professional Photographers Association. He has been a guest speaker at numerous high school photography classes and at the Perpich Center for the Arts.

He has been a winner of several photo competitions and has also been a judge in several photo contests.
